for my science project, i am doing an experiment on whether or not the number of rubs on a balloon affects its static charge. (i rubbed wool onto the balloon and observed how long it stuck onto the wall).

what would be some applications to the real world for this experiment? i cant think of anything in the world that has to do with static electricity/charge.

  1. There's some info at the link that may be useful.  Don't forget that preventing static electricity can be a good thing - you might want to use it or prevent it.
