Applied for a family visit visa but rejected because i didnt show proof of my wife national even though i did?

i showed my wifes original passport and also photocopies. why did they make it up???can i just take the passport with me and show it to them?

  1. I've had similar experience with Federal paperwork.  I think many illiterate people were hired by the government under programs like Affirmative Action.
