Question:

Applying Contact Lenses?

Okay, so getting them onto my eye is easy and fast. The only problem I'm having is that when I place it on my eye, there are air bubbles that cause the lens to 'rise' and therefor whenever I close my eyes to adjust it, they end up coming off because of the eyelid pushing it away.... I think I spent at least 2 hours every day trying to get them on

so, what can I do to make sure there are no air bubbles? What can I do if I have air bubbles? How do I keep it on my eye and not falling out everytime I let go?

Thanks

  1. Well, I have the same problem sometimes, when you put your contacts on, make sure you put it over the area of your iris. Then close your eyes and lightly tap on the lens with your eye closed and then blink a few times, the air bubble should go away, but if it doesn't try not to keep putting them on and off, because it'll irritate your eye.

  2. What i do is once its secure on my eye i take my finger and move it in a circle on my eye. This usually gets most of the air bubbles out for me. Then i close my eye lids and roll my eyes to get all of them completely out.

  3. close your eye and move your finger in circles on your eyelid or just try and press down (lightly) on the parts that have the air bubble
