Applying Early decision to Cornell?

Question

Okay here's the deal. Cornell is my number one super fav school. Here's a version os my transcript. (I'm going to be a senior this fall.)

11th in my class; SAT 1640 ; SATII BIO 690; President of Math Honor Society; VP of Science Honor Society; "Main Leader" of Spanish Club (all of those since 9th grade) I'm in National Honor Society; umm, I'm a Book Award scholar, 400 hours of community service in the field of work I want to go into. Also many hours doing community things. I'm white.. upper middle class. I'm a male Figure Skater as well and I live in NY. What do you think? p.s. GPA 98

I've also gone to the Global Young Leaders Conference and won the Rotary Youth Leadership award (RYLA). I've had high honor role every year since 7th grade... I've visited the school three times, two of those times i was there for a week each. I went to the NY State open house, um.. How do you think I'll do applying early decision?

p.s. ACT composite 26 (i'm retaking them september 13th, i'm planning on using ACT scores on my application)

you sats/act arent good enough but you have a pretty good chance i hope you took ap and honors than if you did i would say a great chance of getting in..good job

Your current scores won't get you into Cornell. Try for a minimum ACT of 31. Of course if you're an Olympic caliber skater, a 29 will probably do.
