  1. A kohl pencil is better than liquid especially if you don't want an 'emo' look. Make sure you sharpen your pencil so it leaves a fine line. As everyone's eye shape is different experiment until you are happy with the result. Between the upper eyelashes open eyes up and makes lashes look fuller. Using eyeliner underneath the lashes can also open the eyes . But with everything practise will make all the difference. Have fun experimenting.

  2. make sure the pencil is sharp that's the trick : )!

  3. yeah if i were you i'd get a simple kohl pencil that you can draw with lightly just around the corners of your eyes and smudge it with your finger tips, it looks really cute =]

  4. I apply my under and on top of my eyes.  If you don't want it to look to thick.  First close your eye and pull from the outer corner then try to get as close to your eyelashes as possible.  If you have a hard time drawing a straight line then dot it as close to your eyelashes as possible i use covergirl eyeliner

  5. there is no technically proper way, i apply a powdered liner though such as this one http://store.bareescentuals.com/bareMine... because it is similiar to my lash color, using this brush http://store.bareescentuals.com/Double+E... you can apply it wet or dry depending on the look you want, i want it to look rather natural so i use it dry on both my upper and lower lashline, then i use my finger to blend away any harsh lines, it defines your eyes but looks extremely natural

  6. well what I like to do is use liquid eye liner. It is tricky but after a while you will look great. I start about the end of the eye on the top lid and make the line kinda curl up. Not tooo curly or too long but just as long it makes the eye look longer. You can start in the middle of the lid. It does not have to be perfect because take a q tip and erase what you dont like. I always get compliments with that. Also I hate putting eye liner to the whole eye because it looks too much so what you can do is get a black eye liner or what ever color you like and I like to put it underneath the lower eyelashes but very lightly barely touching but if it looks too dark either you can smudge it or takw Qtip and remove not wanted eye liner. but remember not to the whole under eye pert but have it makes the eye look larger. ALso you can put some eyeliner in the corner of you eye meaning up top, closer to your nose but not on the outside but inside. Look up and just lightly go inside. It looks great with the liquid eyeliner because with the liquid you dont have to do it with the whole eye so the eyeliner that goes in corner completes it all.. and doesn t look emo. Hope i helped!

  7. just practice, then use makeup remover, then do it again until you have a technique that you think looks good.

  8. do you want it on the top or bottom??

top: rest your pinky on your cheek so your hand is more steady. you could also pull your eye a bit on the outer coner but that may cause pre-mature wrinkles! and do little strokes not just one long one (less chance of messing up) you dont have to do this but, then take a Q-tip and run just above wear you lined your eye this will make it look softer and fix any mistakes.

Bottom: make sure that your pencil is sharp, and gently line as close to your lashes as possible! then you could take a Q-tip and take off the puffy stuff on the tip so its just a stick and then dip it in your makeup remover and fix and mistakes.

hope this helps you! good luck.
