Okay i want to apply white eyeliner to my waterline to make my eyes appear larger, but I want to know if its completely safe. Last time I tried and it sort of hurt . Is it supposed to hurt a little, or was it just the eyeliner I was using or the way I was doing it

  1. Was it hurting your eyeball, or your eyelid, where you put the eyeliner on?

You should pull your eyelid away from your eye, just a litttle- don't want to get wrinkles, but that way the eyeliner pencil won't touch your eyeball.

Some eyeliners aren't safe for waterlining, it should say somewhere on the packaging or on the product. I like to use Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Pure White, it is safe for waterlining.

To make it last longer, set it with a white eyeshadow, just be careful or else you'll get eyeshadow in your eye.

    Hope this helps!

  2. It's safe, but i wouldn't advise it. i know tyra banks made a big fuss out of doing this, but it's not a good every day look. it makes your eyes look bigger from far away or in a picture- but in real life imagine seeing somebody with white in their inner rims, looks kind of silly. instead- just curl your lashes do regular liner on the outer half of your inner rims ( or blend into the lash line if it still hurts) and blend a white eye shadow shade in your tear duct using your pinkie or a q-tip.. then curl your eyelashes and you're good.

  3. DON'T PRESS TO HARD !

    it will hurt your waterline.

and if you want your eyes to apper more larger,

then put just a thin line of white eyeliner.

because white eyeliner is kind of intense,

ui would go with PEARL eyeliner.

  4. you might be allergic or pressing it to hard.

i suggest going to the makeup counter at macys

and having them demonstrate for you.

  5. no it;s not supposed to hurt, be gentle with ur eye! lol ok i reccommend N.Y.C. really cheap 99 cents but u will have to touch up once in a while. i also love Urban Decay 24/7 which never fades in Zero though its $16

    hope i hlpd :]
