Hi, I have visited UK on the tourist visa 4 years back and after coming back from UK i have applied for the UK student visa that was rejected even though my tourist visa was still valid at that time. Now in the last 4 years i have visited many countries but UK I m bit hesitant to re apply for the UK visit visa again thinking may be they reject coz of earlier rejection.Advice

  1. Insufficient info for a thorough answer, but if your last student visa was refused because of any fraudulent statements or due to any suggestion that the intention was to primarily to work in the UK then you will find it harder to persuade the Immigration Officer to grant your application this time.

If your last application was rejected because the educational establishment you signed up to was poorly accredited, then as long as everything is proper and correct this time then the earlier refusal will not count against you.

Also, having a tourist visa at the time has no bearing on whether you gain a visa for any other reason as they're for entirely different purposes and have different rules and requirements.
