If you left united states:

A) Voluntary Removal

B) Ten Year Ban for Overstaying in a foreign country while holding a green card.

Would that be a problem in applying to Canada?

  1. i don't think so.

  2. Yes, it would definitely be a problem. Canada does not want people who have no respect for the rule of law either.

  3. Yes, it will be a problem.  You will have to submit to a criminal records check, you will be asked if you have ever committed a criminal offence and you will have to submit a criminal clearance  for every country you have lived in.

Canada will take a dim view of the criminal record and of the disregard of immigration laws while in the US.

  4. yes because over staying your visa is considered a criminal offence. canada asks whether you've ever been convicted of a crime in any country.  there is a slim chance you could receive a visa but this may play a factor in being inadmissible.

  5. Canada would be very reluctant to give you a visa as you have proved you can not be trusted to leave when your visa expires

anyway to immigrate to Canada you need to be a skilled worker, it is not as easy as some people think to get in to Canada

one of the questions on the visa form is "have you been asked to leave a country or been denied entry to any country"
