Question:

Applying to US universities: Entry requirements?!?

I want to apply for some of the law schools in the USA as well as doing some GDL applications here in the UK. However - I have no idea what the entrance requirements are for the US universities in relation to my previous grades.

Im on track to get a high 2:1 in my current degree if thats any help, but what 'level' of university would I be most likely to have success in? (Obviously I want to get the best I can!)

Thanks in advance!

  1. Are you eligible for law school in the U.S? Law in the U.S. is a graduate program, meaning that you must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent to even be apply for admission.

Beyond a Bachelor's Degree the requirements for law school are as follows:

    - LSAT scores

    - School transcripts

    - Letters of recommendation

    - A resume

    - Personal statement

    - Proof of financial funds to afford both tuition and living expenses.

To help more, you need to state what your 'current degree' is.
