i'm looking for a website that is free that will tell me how much my ipod video is worth. do you know of any?

But it depends how long you have had it. Or if it is in good condition. The newer it looks the more money it would be worth.

http://www.eBay.com is probably the best place to find what people will pay for used stuff.  Anything that has a lot of bidders will give you a pretty good idea of the current market price for used stuff (remember to include what winners have to pay for shipping in the total price that people are paying for the item).

After searching for an item like yours, then click on 'completed listings' on the left sidebar, to review the range that they have sold for, look for dates as recent as possible, for the best indication of current value.

~~With www.ebay.com you can get a good idea of what people are selling and bidding for.  Also check out www.half.com, this site lists things that are about half of what the new price was. You may want to also check out www.craigslist.com  where you will find actually items being sold in your area. You should have a great idea of it's worth after these three sites.~~
