what would a 16 year old apprentice mechanic get paid in the uk??

My son has worked in auto dealerships for more than 25 years and he has just barely made a living and finally left the dealerships. Stay in school and raise your sites. Think about becoming a Tool and Die maker or a Mechanical Engineer and work for an automotive manufacturer designing and building systems for automobiles. At the age of 16 it is difficult to see what is actually available to you. I commend you for looking to your future. Good Luck
