...Celeron is the simpified version of a pentium class...

...Celeron is made for budgeted costumers and not for Heavy user...

...So, Pentium is better than celeron...

I recently read an article and I wish I had the link to it. They did a head to head comparison on the celeron and pentium 4 chips. The processing speed on both of these chips where minor in difference. Personal reference though, Pentium.

Both of those are fairly old technology. If you have to choose between the two of them, go with a Pentium 4. It will run faster and give you a better experience. even in our test labs where we had to purchase hundreds of PCs, we always went with a Pentium over a Celeron.
