  1. TAKEM TO THE VET ASAP THEY HAVE BEEN POISONED..... TRY TO KEEP THEM WARM  BUT THEY THAT YOUNG  IM NOT BEIN MEAN SOME  OR ALL MIGHT NOT LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT..

  2. so sorry to hear you are going through this -- you should most definitively call the SPCA and report the neighbor for animal cruelty.

I don't know if the cat was poisoned or not, but if it was I'm not sure what you can do until you get to the vet.  Maybe you can go in earlier, as soon as they open.

I would just leave the cat alone for now.  It is scared and might be in pain.  Cats will usually hide when they are distressed.  Our cat didn't use the bathroom for several days after we got it.

Give the kitten a warm, soft, small place to sleep such as a box with a blanket in it and try to get some rest yourself.

You are doing the best you can, you are doing a good thing.  If it doesn't turn out okay, it's not your fault.

  3. If it's not using the bathroom, it may be younger than 5 weeks. Young kittens cannot go to the bathroom on their own and must be "stimulated" to go. Normaly their Mom do this after a feeding.

Take a cotton ball and wet it with warm (not hot and not cold) water and gently massage the kitten's genital area, like the mother cat would do with her tongue. The kitten might be in pain because it cannot go to the bathroom on it's own and is retaining urine and f***s. It might take a little while, so don't give up when it doesn't happen right away.

Otherwise, keep the kitten warm and safe and don't mess with it unless you have it. It's probably scared!

If possible, try to take a swabbing of the area this man "sprayed". If he sprayed a posion with the intent of harming the cats, in many states this is illegal. And if it is proven this kitten WAS posioned, he could be in trouble.

Good luck with this small one and thank you for being kind enough to help it!
