It's £40 a day return at the moment peak hours and I was just wondering if they are serious about opening up this part of England as commuter belt for London whether anyone was going to think about the daily cost of travel. The new journey time will be comparable into London with places such as Gerrards Cross in Bucks where a peak daily return is closer to £15. Obviously you're travelling much further distance at higher speeds so I'm sure it's more than this but £40 a day does make it difficult to consider as a viable option every day. Anyone know anything?
