on a metro line with 16 stops? I'm asking because we are getting a metro in a couple of months in the Dominican Republic and I'm curious how long the 14.5k (9m), 16 stop trip would take. Thanks.

You're probably looking at an average (including stops) for a suburban metro line of between 20 and 25 mph, so that works out to be about 30 minutes absolute maximum for that journey, and likely to be closer to 25 minutes.
