Approximately how many scooters/motos are there in Hanoi, Vietnam?

The roads are dominated by motorbikes, Xe Om and scooters, but how many are there?

I was in Ho Chi Min in 2003, and saw the roads filled with motorbikes. Seems it's their means of transportation. 5 million is a fair estimate.

I myself have 4, my friends even have more than that. so, just guess if 1 Vietnamese have 3 motobikes average then 3 x 84 millions (vietnamese polulation) = 252 millions motobikes...OMG...
