  1. A big handful of employers refuse to hire graduates from that so called college. the tuition is off the wall and it's not really a well respected, hard-to-get-in school. it's sounds all like a rip off and i can't how many people are attending there.

  2. The MBA tuition is $625 per unit and $95 per class for books and materials.  You need 39 units for the MBA.  $24,375 in tuition and $1235 for books and materials.  Grand total $25,610 and takes 18 months.

  3. I am attending Kaplan University for MSM right now (Master of science in Management). I am very happy with the school. I have learned a lot only in short time and I am still learning. Trust me I have never enjoyed studying so much. The professors and advisers are great. Contact me if you are interested. I can give you more information.

  4. Depends on what part of the country.  UOP does market research on their competition and what kind of consumers in a particular economic region or city.  Fully online MBA is more expensive than their FlexNet thing (online + classroom mix).  I was quoted about $11,000 in Oregon after military discount and transfer of old MBA credits from an AACSB school I got years ago.  The full cost range from $15000 - $18000.  About 10 years ago, my college buddies paid about $25,000 for a Phoenix MBA out of California and they're not happy that tuition is lower for today's crowd.   It's just a fact of doing business, and UOP is all about business.  Ipods today are cheaper than yesterday, etc.

  5. well an associate's degree takes about 18 months.. so maybe a total of 3-4 years. just be careful because i tried to use that online college and now im having major issues with them because they dont keep their word and lie.

  8. They list graduate tuition at $612 per semester hour here http://www.uopxonlinetraining.com/single...

They tell us that their MBA with no concentration is 39 hours here http://www.phoenix.edu/online_and_campus...

That would be 39 x $612 = $23,868 without additional costs such as books and supplies.  Also without considering prerequisite courses or additional courses for a specialization.

By contrast, Jacksonville State University is AACSB accredited and teaches their 30 hour MBA online for only $225 per semester hour (online students pay in-state tuition) so it's 30 x $225 = $6750  http://www.jsu.edu/depart/undergraduate/...

Huge difference in both respectability and price and that's just one example.

UMass teaches an MBA online too.  http://www.umassonline.net/degrees/MBAUM...  It's 30 hours at $515 per semester hours or about $15,450

There are a lot of options out there.  Make sure you consider them all.  UoP is pretty expensive in comparison and their reputation is pretty low.  It seems "you get what you pay for" doesn't work with this example.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚˜Âº
