Approximately how much would it cost to rent a limo fitting 8 people?

Are the rental costs based per hour or per person? I live in Calgary, Canada and want to rent a limo for my birthday.

It's generally per hour.  Check the telephone directory in your area for local limo rentals and call them for an estimate.

I don't know but a group of commuters at my corporate office did this. Instead of van pooling (another idea) they reserved a limo. Fridays were done right with drinks and appetizers on the way home.

I read an article about them and it was cheaper than renting a van, nobody had to drive so everybody could relax, rest or work in the limo.
