Appx how much does it cost to knock down a wall in a house?

Not a load bearing wall, but I want to knock a wall out and extend it out to make the bedroom larger. Just an appx, I want to know if it's hundreds or thousands. (See, I have no clue). thanks!

It depends on the size of the wall but it would be well over $1000(maybe over $2K) before the workman was finished. Remember that the ceiling and floor, where the wall was, will have to be finished to look like the surrounding materials.
