  1. The LH surge that an OPK tests for lasts 10-30 hrs.  So you may need to test twice a day (say 11am and 10pm).  Since LH is synthesised in the morning it is best not to take this test with 1st morning urine.  You will then ovulate 12-48 hrs after your 1st positive OPK.  Good luck!!!
