Aqua clear powerfilter 50?

i have one and i dont know what king of filter cartridge to put in it

You will need a Sponge for in the bottom of filter, Then a bag of bio Max beads, on top a carbon filter bag. Buy them for your size filter. All can be seen here.

Contact the store where you bought the filter or call the manufacturer. Also you can do a google search and enter the name of your filter. From there you will see what cartridges to use.  This is what I came up with - Hagen AquaClear Replacement Cartridges.

Petco, Petsmart, and many Walmarts sell the inserts in all of the different sizes, including 50.  You'll need a sponge insert for the bottom layer, a carbon insert (if desired) for the middle layer, and the porous rocks (don't know what they're called) for the top layer.  The rocks are where the bioligical organisms colonize the most.  Just look for the Aqua clear brand name, and the "50", and you should be able to find everything you need.  If you are unsure, get someone at the pet stores to assist you.
