Aquarians and dating

so i saw this cartoon about dating, where all people are on the street are walking and men and women are filrting with each other men checking out women, and in the background there was "the weird aquarian" with a calculator in his hand and wearing a robot costume ..lol...first i got offended cuz being an aquarian i dont consider myself calculating and cold....but now thinking about it i realize that we are picky! and analyze ppl we date after a few minutes of talk

I don't call it cold...I call it being cautious. Just because we don't want to throw ourselves at anybody doesn't mean we don't care. I agree with you...I think we try to be very neutral until we realize that the person in front of us is true enough to see the real us. I get completely heart broken if I was to loose someone I really cared about.

Besides...it is pretty amazing to see a person who has know you to be really reserved have ACTUAL true emotions for you. I think all other signs should give us a break. If an Aquarius shows to be in love with someone, then they really are in love with you. No 'and', 'if's' or 'but's' about it.

It is just that you Aquarians often ARE like robots and do not show emotion or sympathy. Not a bad thing but that the Aquarius personality hates to appear vulnerable to the outside world. Look at Michael C. Halls character in Dexter (If you have seen it). He is an Aquarius for real and shows little to almost no emotion on the show. For dating, it will be hard since Aquarians like things to go easy for them. I guess you should try to cultivate this and see if anything works out.

Omg, I literally started laughing out loud when I read this question. Hilarious! That, unfortunately, is how most people that don't know any Aquarians intimately think we all are. When in actuality, we're' very sensitive and feel things very deeply but we're just picky about who we show those emotions too.

I tried to explain to my Scorpio friend how we analyze our feelings first and she looked at me like I was crazy. I guess that's how others see the Aquarians in relation to emotions too..lol. My thing is that because I'm so sensitive I won't just wear my heart on my sleeve and give someone a chance to hurt me. I hate rejection too so I would be the last person to just come out and say I love someone unless I truly felt or knew that they felt the same way. I have to really get to know someone and trust them before I show them that sensitive side and "expose" my feelings to them. Just because we express our feelings differently and aren't quite as open with them at first meeting doesn't mean that we don't have them. Aquarians are very emotional people on the inside. I think most would be surprised in they could jump into our brains and swim around for a while =oP

Once I love someone and trust them, I'm one of the most open and expressive people you could ever meet. For me to love someone means that I trust them with my heart anyway so I would have no problem telling them how I feel at that point. We're not all robots people =( Don't you just hate that stereotype?
