Aquarium filter problem?

ok i bought a filter or my aquarium where i will keep a urle but the tube to reach the water is not long enough all i need is another 2 inches maybe more i can put anymore water in there or else my turtle would have no room to bask please help me how can i make a tiny extension to the pipe so it can reach the water

Depending on the brand of filter you can buy extensions and couplings. then you can cut it off to whatever length you need. Their only about $4.00
