i have got a flouresent 16 inch long 22 watt light for a 35 gallon hex.. will this be egnouf light for my saltwater tank..i amgetting the night light..

  1. Will it be enough to illuminate the tank?  Definitely, but it is FAR from strong enough to grow any real corals (you&#039;d be lucky to keep some Zoanthids alive) or photosynthetic inverts.  If you want corals, I would really suggest a T-5 fixture...


  2. 4wpg is good for a sw with corals...

    But if its just gonna be FOWLR, 22watt would be ok...

  3. This should be fine as long as you aren&#039;t growing live plants or coral. It won&#039;t affect your fish&#039;s tank temperature either. Fluoresents are always recommended to show your the fish&#039;s natural coloring as well.
