can you put a red eared slider turtle and a cumberland pond slider in the same aquarium

  1. You can try. Just watch them to be sure that they don't fight.


  2. Absolutely! Red ear sliders generally get along well with most turtle species. I researched, and they should be fine together, unless the red ear or the cumberland was unusually aggressive.

  5. oh  yea..I havd had my 2 sliders for 36 yrs.

    Just make sure your tank is big enough for 2 or they will fight over the food.

    They can fight over food and if one is mucg bigger than  the other they can be brutal when they  fight.

    A kid on here yesterday said his big turtle bite opf his turtles leg and it was hanging..

    He didn't have enough space for 2..poor turtle.

    Feed lots of goldfish and lettuce and lots of water to swim in and light to sun bathe in..and they will be fine..
