  1. Check out Cheb Mami, he is amazing.

  2. There are a lot of choices out there.  It would be better if you could specify what types of Arabic Music you are looking for and/or what style of dancing you do.  There's of course Music that's from different regions/countries such as Lebanese, Egyptian, Maghrebi, Gulf, Turkish, etc... and then among each of those areas there are classic songs and more modern pop songs and for many there are "country" songs or what we might consider folk songs meaning that they are songs from a particular ethnic group within an area or they are songs that are very traditional but not neccisarily considered "classics".  I'll try to give you a few suggestions but of course without knowing what type, region or style you are interested in it's difficult to really give you more specific artists and titles.

    EGYPTIAN

    **Classics:

    *Om Kalthoum (various spellings)

try songs like Alf Layla wa Layla and Enta Omri

    *Farid Al-Atrache (also various spellings)

almost any song of his will work.  Try songs like Raqset Kahramana (from Afrita Hanem), Raqset Eljamal, or Raqset Eljawari.  Be sure to check out his other songs too.

    *Mohamed Abdel Wahab

Try Laylet Hob (sung by Om Kalthoum composed by Wahab)

    *Abdel Halim Hafez (various spellings)

Try Bahlam Beek, Ghanalhawa, or khusara khusara

    **Modern / Popular

    *Amro Diab (Also Amr Diab)

Try hits like Ya Nour el-Ein, Awedony, Amarain, Tamally Maak, and Khallini Ghanbak

    *Hakim (also Hakem)

Pretty much any song by him

    *Ruby

Songs like Enta Aref Leih.  I'm not a Ruby fan so I don't really have any recommendations for her songs but look her up and listen to her stuff if you want.

    LEBANESE

    **Classics

    *Fairuz

    **Modern / Pop

    *Haifa Wehbe

    *Nancy Ajram

    Turkish

    **Pop

    Tarkan

Try his original hit "Kiss Kiss"

    MAGHREBI

*Warda (somewhat maghrebi somewhat Egyptian she's from Algeria but lived in Egypt quite a bit)

    *Cheb Mami

    *Cheb Kaled

There's Various selections such as the Bellydance Superstars CD's, or Hossam Ramzy's best of CD's which feature many great songs from a variety of artists and from a variety of countries so if your not sure what you like yet you might want to start there.
