  1. I think it would. You have a decent backup catcher to replace Martin if you do trade him. Aram is a good clutch hitter for the Cubs. I have him on my team as well and he is good. I would try that trade and see if it works.

  2. I think U should try for Arod,AND Big Papi...... ________________________________________...

    Maybe--R.Mart,Abreu(outfielders are a dime a dozen!),and A.Ram for A.Rod+Big Papi

He may be to a point where he doesn't even care anymore.

I got Miggy Cabrera last year from a last place team after the all star break for Ryan Zimmerman. So,I'd start my asking cost high,at first.(Don't be afraid to send multiple offers/counter offers!)~~~~~G{}{}d Luck!

  3. You've got a good back-up C in Ryan Doumit. It's all up to what you feel about it though.

  4. dont make this trade.

  5. I doubt that would get the deal done.  While Ramirez and Martin are both very valuable, we are talking about a perrenial top 3 pick and possibly one of the best to play the game.  I'd certainly try to do that but don't hold your breathe.

One option to try may be including Uggla for Hendrick.  This would allow you to sell Uggla high (as he likely won't keep his current pace).  You would be taking a step down in production at 2B but Kendrick won't hurt you (he'll bat .320 or so) and the power you'll add from ARod will make up for that difference.
