Aramith belgian billiard balls?

Question

OK i bought these for my dad for fathers day they were way more expensive than the others. What is so different about these?

Because they are the best billiard balls you can get. They are by far the best quality. i don't think there is a close second but that is just my opinion. That is why they are they are most expensive than the cruddy cheap ball sets

All of their features are spelled out on their website. I agree with Brew though that the Super Pro's, at least, are great. It's mostly a tolerance (size and weight) and durability thing compared to cheaper ball sets out there. I've played with some of the cheaper sets where not all the balls were the same size and some had big chips taken out of them. That's not to say the Aramith's are indestructable; mine are starting to show a few nicks, but they last longer.

They are top notch as far as quality.  I love aramith pool balls.  They make a very good product.  I guess depending on what you paid for them, and where you bought them would be a better aid to tell you if you paid too much.
