Sri Lanka’s former captain and great middle-order batsman, Aravinda de Silva, is not impressed by India’s bowling attack in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739 from the playing-11 against Australia was a huge mistake.

"Whatever I have seen so far in this tournament, the Indian bowling attack seems to be weak. And when I am saying weak, it means pretty weak," he said.

The former Test captain thinks that India have to come up with different plans in the field, if they are to challenge the higher ranked teams consistently.
"I have not seen the Indian spinners try out different things against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746. I felt that they were pretty flat and against sides which have good players of spin, this will be a problem," said the former middle-order batsman.
De Silva is shocked to see question marks over Sehwag’s place in the team and said that the opening batsman is one of the world’s finest players and deserves to be in the side.
He added, "Let me tell you that it’s not an ideal situation to be in where you drop a player of Sehwag’s calibre."
