Hello,I hope you will have the time and kindness to read and help me about my problem with your areca-1210 Raid controller. My PC configuration is:- Asus P5ND2-SLI (configured with single Video Card)- P4 3.2ghz Intel- 2gb sticks of RAM KINGSTONE (single channel config)- arc-1210 (with NO HD connected, but drivers and software installed)- PCI old Matrox VGA card- PCI gigabit lan cardMy server goes into Hybernation Mode automatically after 10min.It wakes up on its own twice a day to perform some tasks.Normally, when it wakes up, I get this sequence:- the CPU FAN starts at MAX speed- 2 short BEEPS- 4or5 seconds of silence- 1 short BEEP- the CPU FAN slow down automatically its speed- the PC comes back to life, restoring from Hybernation Mode Sometimes, I get this, but the PC restores from Hybernation anyway:- the CPU FAN starts at MAX speed- 2 short BEEPS- 6 or more seconds of silence- 2 short BEEPS- 4or5 seconds of silence- 1 short BEEP- the CPU FAN slow down automatically its speed- the PC comes back to life, restoring from Hybernation Mode Some other Times, I get this, but the PC DOES NOT restore from Hybernation get stuck:- the CPU FAN starts at MAX speed- 2 short BEEPS- 6 or more seconds of silence- 2 short BEEPS- the PC won't boot up, the FAN is at MAX speed, and get STUCK FOREVER.I have noticed that this strange behaviour occurs ONLY when the controller is inserted in the MB.Without it, the PC wakes up always fine and never gets hung in the re-start process. Also have noticed that removing 1gb of RAM makes thinks a little better.I mean that PC wil get stuck much less then with 2gb of RAM.But it still happen sometime......Please, can you guide me and help me on this issue ?If you need other parameter of my config...please let me know and I will take care immediately. Please HELP ME.....you're my ONLY HOPE.Sincere Thanks Ric
