i have no idea what archaeological imperialism is and i would like to know (saw it on family guy) -_-

Archaeological Imperialism is where a country has taken archaeoligical artifacts (generally ancient and historically significant) from another country or cultural group in the name of science and research, generally without paying for them or otherwise negotiating with the rightful owners /heirs. The British are famous for that in the case of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The USA is well known for doing it with Native American artifacts. Most of the wealthier countries and museums are guilty of  this sort of behavior, though the majority of it occurred in the 1800's to the mid-1900's. There are now national and international laws that govern the acquisition and sale of antiquities.
