Question:

Architect books for building with montessori blocks?

I am looking for some architect building structures. EX. Eiffel tower. I'm attaching a sample of the blocks that are in the classroom. http://www.communityplaythings.com/products/blocks/unitblocks/G475.html

Keep in mind that these are children who are 3 years old so it must be something easy that they can follow

  1. The first responder was right on one level, but failed to look at the link, it appears.  Those are not traditional Montessori materials.

    I do agree with the point of not following exactly what the teacher set up in terms of how to do it.  Maybe have pictures of structures around of structures and refer to one and try to build it.  If it works out great, that's great.  If not, it's ok...it's still the child's invention.  Putting something out there that the child must follow perfectly to acheive that specific result I don't think would be quite as ideal as a child being inspired by a design and using that to create his or her own design.
