What do architect do and how do they do it. How does one becomes a architect. What’s so good and bad about being a architect.

  1. Architects design buildings according to artistic forms and tradition along with functional consideration.

    In the US, licensed practice usually requires a 5 year degree and 3 years of internship before you qualify for the licensing examination.

    Architecture is stimulating and satisying, always varied problems to be solved and at the end of the day something tangible has been created.

    Conversely, few clients actually pay you to "practice" architecture.  Most often they want a cheap and simplistic building.
