Architectural firms in NY?

I am an architecture student visiting Manhattan this comming august- are there any firms anyone would reccomend that I should visit or contact? I have a personal list but they may be too 'high and mighty'. I particularly just want to take a peek at the environment and function of a metropolis firm, but at the same time am looking for future places of interest to apply for an internship. Any reccomendations?

You can apply to intern for my company... www.dwelldesignbuild.com, or you can ask to see in advance a few architecture firms. Check out their web sites to see that they aren't too corporate because other wise they will say no! Good luck!
