Archos 404 could not start

When I turn Archos 404 on, I got these information on screen.Recovery (code 2)System is damaged. Would you like to recover it?NoRepairFormat diskOption no does nothingWhen I choose option Repair or Format disk, it jump intoRecoverySetting up operating system..then it hangs there forever until the battery is empty.Can you tell me what I have to do?
