Archos 605 wifi DVR dock to HDTV?

Help! help! help!

Situation: just bought the Archos 605 and the DVR dock. Trying to hook them up with my Panasonic HDTV. Using the yellow/red/white cable out from the HDTV to the DVR dock; no problem, I can view and hear the channel that I am recording on Archos. (The reason I use the Y/R/W cable here cos there is no S-video output from my HDTV).

Here's the problem: now, I try to use the Y/R/W cable from the DVR back to the HDTV; I got nothing.

Tested it with the S-video cable and red/white audio cable; I can see the video but hear no audio.

Tested it again, using the Y/R/Wcable, hooked them up with one of my older TV, no problem, I can see and hear fine.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? does the DVR support connection with HDTV? It should cos it's only using the regular basic yellow/red/white cable connection. I checked the cable-in, cable-out thingy. I also checked the settings, and they should be fine cos i can see and hear from my older TV.

SAVE ME! THANK YOU.

  1. Yes, its supports HDTV connection. I use my 605 with a HD set. It sounds like an option in your TV needs adjusting. What ever video input you're using on TV, make the sound is enabled.
