Ardera Scabbers likely to prevail in the Grade A5 Flat Race at Hall Green – Preview
Ardera Scabbers is likely to win the Grade A5 480 metres Flat Race at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The cash prize of winning the event is £90 and six greyhounds will be fighting for it today.
In the past few races at Hall Green, Ardera Scabbers has been pretty impressive.
She was victorious at the venue last time around on Friday, February 3, this year, and will be eying a repeat of that performance today.
The A. Jenkins’ trained b***h has been given a starting price of 5 to 2 for the race.
It is quite understandable, as she looks in very good form. She was not rated as the favourite on her previous outing, but stormed to victory, making a solid impression.
Considering the good form of Ardera Scabbers, no one seems to be good enough to match her speed and stamina.
She is the daughter of Bruce Ali out of Moneyscalp Bell and was born in May 2010. She will be the youngest participant in the event today.
The closest rival for the favourite greyhound will be, Foxys Champ. She has been a touch inconsistent over the past few months, but that certainly does not mean that she cannot fight for victories.
S Deakin’s trained b***h was victorious at Hall Green in her last race, so that will give her confidence to end up on top once again.
Things will not be easy for her, but the bookmakers have shown faith in her. She has been awarded a starting price of 3 to 1 and will be looking forward to a strong show.
Foxys Champ is the daughter of Tyrur Hestor out of Feora Foxy and was born in January 2010.
Another greyhound entering the race with a starting price of 3 to 1 will be Prodigy Eimear.
She is also in very good form and can compete at any level at the moment. Her form at Hall Green has been impressive and she will look to continue that today.
Prodigy Eimear did not have a good run in her last race at Hall Green, as she got off to a very bad start.
She was the favourite for that event, but a lacklustre performance forced the bookmakers to take that tag away from her.
However, nothing can hold the S. Buckland trained b***h when she is on song. If she manages to get off to a solid start today, it will be difficult to catch her.
She was born in May 2009 and is the daughter of Balintore Brave out of Swift Pin.
Despite not being in winning form over the recent races, Ballidrum Titan has the ability to make a solid impression today. Victories have dried up for him recently, but he will be confident of turning things around soon, maybe today.
Ballidrum Titan is also trined by A. Jenkins and is the son of Elite State out of Creamery Lass, born in September 2007. He is the oldest of all participants in the race today.
Royal Deal and Dotty Mosca are the two least favourite greyhounds to win today.
A top three finish will be more than enough for them, as they do not seem to have the speed and skill to match the other participants at Hall Green.
The local fans will be expecting a thrilling event today, as there are some very good runners taking part in the race.
