Ardmayle Ali, the one to consider for A2 480m Flat at Swindon
After a few solid efforts lately, Ardmayle Ali is all set to thump his opponents in the 480 metres flat heat, set to take place at Swindon on Wednesday, May 2nd. The proceedings are scheduled to get started at 20:07
GMT.
The Grade A2 clash has attracted six speedy runners, who will compete for a purse of £95. Their names are: Ardmayle Ali, Baby Bubba, Off The Radar, Kays To Blame, Liscrea Premier and Primo Apollo.
After ending up third in two consecutive races in late March, Ardmayle Ali improved his work dramatically and presented a fine show last month.
On April 20, the black sealed an emphatic win in a 480 metres heat. He seized the top place quite comfortably, beating Scobys Flash by 3¾ lengths.
He carried forward his good work and displayed another good performance at the end of last month. However, he could not bag the winning cheque, finishing second behind Color Card.
With two reasonable performances under his belt, the C. Stringer-trained is raring to go. Let’s see how he manages things to keep his head high today.
Among his rivals, Baby Bubba is being considered as the most dangerous competitor. The black dog is not in winning rhythm at the moment, but still one should not ignore his chances.
In his previous trip at Swindon, K. Hutton’s trainee ended up third on the table. His fans are hoping for an improved effort this time around.
Off The Radar remained unlucky in his previous two races. On both occasions, the brindle dog narrowly missed the glory. So, he just needs a slice of luck to turn things around.
Kays To Blame is aiming to throw a spanner in works. After making a few terrible outings, the white and black b***h broke the shackles, winning a 480 metres heat by a couple of lengths.
Liscrea Premier’s chances would increase ten-fold with a trouble-free run. On the other hand, Primo Apollo would not be able to do any damage today.
Our calculations suggest that it would not be a straightforward outing for Ardmayle Ali. Since most of the contenders are in decent rhythm, he will have to perform out of his skin to play a part.
