Are 2 stoke outboard engines banned in quebec?

I would like to know if and when 2 stroke outboard motors will ne banned

I doubt if 2 strokes will ever be "banned".  The onus to make o/bs enviormentally friendly has been put on the manufacturer, and all motors produced now meet these emissions standards, 2 or 4 stroke.  Most provincial and national parks do have bans on ALL motorized boating

So far they are not.  It long been proposed, but the facts just don't support this based on any scientific study.  There is more oil pollution from rain run-off than from all the outboards ever produced.
