Are 3'' mini dvd discs for camcorders able to be used in a computer dvd drive?

Question

Are they like psp disks where it is inside a case or are they physical discs?

Also are they re writable.

its the same as a normal size DVD disc, but smaller and holds less data

if it says DVD R, then its used only 1x

if it says DVD RW, then it can be erased and used over.
