Are 600 thread count sateen sheets considered good quality?

Are these sheets going to be soft? Will they do that awful thing where little balls of fabric show up after you wash it a few times? Are 600 thread count sateen sheets considered good quality?

OH YEAH! I have 600 count Egyptian cotton sheets and they are the best sheets ever! I will never again sleep on anything under 600 count. I don't think the sateen should get the little fabric cling ons. They will be super soft by the way! You could probably use them as a slide too!

Yes they are.  They don't ball up as long as you wash them correctly (warm not hot water, low heat dry).

Yes they will be very good quality, 320 count are good quality

It is not a real fancy sheet but will not cause any extraordinary fusses over normal wear and tear.  600 is considered a higher quality among common usage sheets and sub par in the exquisite sheets category.
