Are all guys who put down women’s basketball scum of the earth?

The research has concluded, the reports are out, and YES, they all are. I've heard every lame excuse for not supporting women's basketball. "Oh, they're just not as good as the men, they're ugly, they're boring, my p***s is small and putting women down magically makes it grow." Every excuse in the book. The truth is, every male who has to berate, mock and spew hate toward women's basketball is a complete joke of a man. Men who are secure with their manhood and love the game, can appreciate it no matter what s*x the player is. For all you real men, I say thank you! 2008 WNBA season starting soon...buy your tickets now!

I'm not going to disrespect it or put it down.  But I'm certainly not going to watch it either.  The women arent as good as the men. Period.  Thats not a sexist statement. Its the simple truth.

I think women are equal to men in almost every aspect of life.  Women can be doctors, lawyers, politicians, and business leaders and do it as well as men.  However, the president of the United States, soldiers, and entertaining athletes are just not on that list.  I think if a women wants to play pro basketball or if anyone wants to watch it more power to them, but don't get mad at men for saying its an inferior league or that its not as much fun to watch as the NBA.  Yall get offended when men don't respect your opinions and as good husbands and boyfriends we refrain from putting down your opinions in front of you.  All we ask is that the favor is returned.  Men are stubborn and I will be the first to admit it.  We'll put the seat down and bite our toungues when you talk about Hillary Clinton, but please, for the love of God, do not start a fight over our sports.  Its the one thing we have left.

Well, I certainly don't put it down.  But I don't find it nearly as entertaining as men's basketball.  That being said,...this was an excellent question that was very insightful.  This is the type of question that we should be seeing in the "GOLF SECTION OF YAHOO ANSWERS".  It makes me want to go out and immediately buy a bunch of tickets to watch people with sub 30 inch verticals play basketball.
