  1. The short answer is yes.

    AMD and Intel both make excellent processors.


  2. Intel > AMD, Intel has more Cache, more power sufficient, and are faster and more capible of upgrading

  3. AMD processors are excellent. They give you more bang for your buck. I recommend them instead of Intel, especially for processor-intensive tasks like gaming.
