Are the AP Exam scores ever wrong? I mean, i just called in and the machine told me i got a 4 on the 2008 AP US HISTORY EXAM. Before you jump to the conclusion that it was probably my essays, i want you to consider the fact that:

-i spent more time on APUSH than any of my other 4 ap's (which i got 3 5's and a 4 on French, which i am TOTALLY fine with; french is hard)

-i got a 5 on EURO and 5 on English Language

-i got an 800 on SAT II US History, which is the hardest SAT II; also 800 is 98th percentile

-i got a high-5 on the mock APUSH test (2001 exam) ONE WEEK Before

-i don't suck at writing essays or reading; CR is 730 and writing SAT score is 790

-i have had the second highest grade in a class of 33 throughout the year; our teacher has a excellent pass rate (80%)

Additionally, for this exam, i forgot to put one of my AP labels on my Multiple choice answer sheet. Was this a problem?

  1. You have much to learn about real life. Being an over-achiever will serve you well in a job, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're more intelligent than 98% of people.

To make this simple: it doesn't matter what you got. Stop caring so much and wait for the official results to arrive.

  2. There is a possibility, but you shouldn't be freaking out over a 4 and a 5 it's unhealthy XD I mean it's up to you. But yeah, you can order a rescore for a fee, and one of my friends last year did I think because she got a 3 in a subject she's really good at.

Is the AP Euro grade out? Do you think you can email me? I really wanna know but I don't wanna call twice incase it's not :]

  3. Hopefully, they can be wrong. I called in for my results for APUSH and was told I got a 3.  I also got an 800 on the SAT II just 5 days before.  I was sure I had scored a 5.  My test form booklet number did not match up to any of the numbers they had to bubble in, (no letter at the end) so the proctor told me to just bubble the form number I had.

  4. How do you already know? I thought the earliest our scores would be ready by phone was Tuesday, June 1st!

  5. You may have written great essays but it also depends on the people reading them. Some of the graders may have an uncontrollable bias. Maybe you included something remotely "offensive."
