Are Adam golf clubs good?

Question

Are adam golf clubs good? Specifically the irons. I am an intermediate player with a strong swing. The set I am looking at purchasing is a set of last years model "GT Xtreme2" Thanks in advanced!

I work at a golf store and have never heard of that set it might be cheaply made or something but adams definitely has awesome clubs mainly known for their hybrids but are coming up in the game with some awesome irons for an intermediate player that's a great brand of choice but i would be leery with that set.

I picked up a set of the Adams Ovation 3 irons this year and am very happy with them. A lot of forgiveness, along with good feedback. You can get them from d**k's Sporting Goods online for $199 with a 4 - LW plus free shipping.

Adams has done a good job of establishing itself as an affordable manufacturer. You don't hear it's name being thrown around in a lot of the "What's the best brand of ...." kind of discussions, but they do have that reputation with hybrids.

Their iron sets have good credibility with the golfers I know, especially the A2 irons from a year or two back.

I haven't heard of the GT Xtreme line, but know the GT 500s are supposed to be a good game-improvement iron for high and mid handicappers.

Adam's hybrids are great clubs, as for there Irons. I have never swung them, but I did have a friend that played them. He had good results with them. If you can, try them before you buy the clubs so you see if you like the feel of the clubs.
