Are Air Signs more likely to be Chain Smokers?

Question

I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke for so many reasons.

But, like my Fire and Earth Q's, wouldn't Air signs be more inclined to light one up? And it doesn't have to be cigarettes either, just smoking of any kind. After all, it's in the air and can be inhaled. So wouldn't the air signs be more susceptible to smoking?

chain smokers should be fire and earth element not water and air.. air and water blow the smoke out.. fire is the one who the cigarette etc and earth is the one to follow.. go along with the plans.. fire and earth is the chain smokers.

I would go with Sindy. too general a question and you would have to look at more data than that. In some societies it is more accepted than others.....like everything else really...so maybe you ought to ask : Americans ??

Most Japanese are smokers........are they all air signs ??

Yes I do think that the air signs are more likely to be chain smokers. I know some people after they are finished with their first they smoke another one right away. Yes the air signs would be more suceptible to smoking. I agree with you about the smell of cigarette smoke.

No, not because of the Air element.  But Gemini suns, moons, and risings are very prone to chain smoking.  This is because they are constantly moving, in motion, and thinking.  They have a lot of nervous energy, and chain smoking is often the outlet for them.  Virgos with Gemini influence in these ways can be this way too because of the heightened nervous energy from Mercury.

Haha, it would theoretically make sense that air signs would be more likely to "inhale," but I don't think the sign has anything to do with smoking.

But I'm a Taurus and I sure do love weed!

Aquarian here and i'm not a smoker at all. I dont smoke period. I cant stand the smell either.

I think the air signs that are susceptible to smoking are the ones that just give in and want to be controlled by the tobacco companies or the drug. For me, i dont want them to control me, so i dont smoke.

the decision to smoke is also partly based on personal choice.

I'm gonna have to go with the Cardinal signs being the most smokers.  A pure guess.  Cause they are so restless and stuff.

I don't know...i am an aquarius and i hate cig smoke too.  I know lots of peeps who smoke though and they are fire signs or water signs like sags, aries, cancers.  I do have an aunt who's a gemini who smokes and I do have a friend who is a libra who smokes now that I think of it.  Oh and I do know an aquarius who is a hellachain smoker!  My sis who is an aries is a big chain smoker when she doesn't have anything to do.  My dad is a sagittarius and is a definate chain smoker his fingers are yellow it's so bad!

But I doubt it has anything to do with air signs. Drugs, cigarettes or other kinds of smokes, and addiction are related to Pisces and Neptune and Jupiter for over-indulgence.

From another point of view, Mercury (Gemini=Lungs) aspecting Neptune would probably give rise to smoking as well as Jupiter (over-indulgence) conj. Neptune.

This is my take and interested in what others have to say.

my uncle who is an aquarius almost died of lung cancer

he would smoke about two packs daily, he iight now, stopped smoking due to that

so i dunno

I am a Gemini and doesn't smoke...I used to run in marathon, and run 5 miles each day while in the service.. I  understand that my stamina can be affected  by drinking coffee, beer, cigarette, and anything that is not healthy, will affect my body..Can you imagine how dirty a lungs look like for people that smoke???

Edit: I know that I have a good lungs, and I want to keep it that way...Let's not forget, maybe some do, and others don't...It's freedom of choice--lol--...
