Melia Caribe hotel, Dom Rep. large, beautiful, friendly staff 11restaurants,neat clean. Well worth the money

Excellent value for money. i I was there 2 yrs ago, it was fabulous..........but i recommend a 5* hotel , to be sure !!!!!!!

Take loads of one dollar bills for tipping, you`ll be looked after very well. Some of the nicest people I have ever met!

I went AI in Dominican Republic about 7 years ago and it was excellent value for money, the food and drink were fantastic, even champagne was included (as much as you liked) The food was amazing and never got boring, we stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada.  I have also been AI in Sharm El Sheikh and it was appalling, food, drink just about everything was sub standard, it was cheaper than Dominican Republic, but I would have preferred to pay a little more for a better quality holiday.

Always read the small print in the brochure, some AI's are a total rip off, In Sharm we ended up spending a fortune to eat decent food and drink decent alcohol as the AI stuff was inedible and undrinkable!!

It is absolutely fntastic value for money. I went with my family, and it was well worth it, even the cigarettes were included!! The resort we stayed at had 24 hour snack bars, 24 hour drinks/cigarettes, we never had to fork out for anything unless we were leaving the resort, and even then not too dear, hope you have a brill time, well worth it.
