Are American Spirit cigerettes just pure tobacco?

Like roll ups.... without all the "other" c**p in them!

And are they milder than other brands???

Just curious, because they're hard to get here.

Are they a popular brand in America?

Actually, even most rolling tobacco has other stuff in it.  American Spirit products are pure tobacco with nothing added.

I don't know of any cigarettes sold in the U.S. that are "pure" tobacco.  The cigarette manufacturers mix in all kinds of chemicals and other stuff.

American Spirit is considered a cheap, generic brand.

Rolling tobacco isn't pure tobacco, also have some additives(all additives aren't harmful). Natural American Spirit yes is pure tobacco with high cost. Strong taste,superior tobaccos. My all time favorite is Perique blend(the black pack).

   I think in Europe there is American Spirit also in rolling tobacco version.

American Spirit claim to have to additives.  They seem to be more popular amongst the "tree hugger" type.  I work at a convenience store and contrary to what other people say they are not generic.  They actually cost more that Camel, Marlboro, etc.
