most americans are fat and out of shape and the heaviest drug users in history to achieve their physiques..

so do they get jealous when they see a chinese basketballer who is taller and SUPERIOR than them?

also why doesn't team USA beat every country by at least 50 points? you have the almighty NBA... therefore you should be unbeatable.

If you lose in Beijing NBA should be dismantled.

I can't believe you lose at baseball too...

have fun witnessing China beat you in everything.

China > USA

oh yeah did you lose to MEXICO in Athens???? hahahahahah MEXICO!!!!! beat you in baseball? and you hold a baseball event called the world seies which is played amongst yourselves?

Your country is a joke and so are your presidential candidates.

Hu Jintao > Obama

  1. I doubt it.  Yao is famous mostly in Texas, and China.  LeBron have the entire US and anyone who watch and appreciate NBA.

  2. hey people, don't make fun of the chinese. im chinese american and im proud. but even i, a longtime yao ming fan, has to admit that america is way better then china in basketball. china has yao, yi jianlian, sun yue, and some other dudes, while america has D wade, lebron, kobe, jason kidd, dwight howard, carmelo anthony(and theres still a lot more). And in the nba, james and kobe would destroy yi jianlian. so my answer is no, the americans are not jealous, even though yao is like a monster to them and regular humans.

  3. Is this a treat

I think people might report u.

But USA well get the gold medal.

    However Im from Bangladesh.

    I love USA

  4. You have a point. I feel you.

  5. America is the BEST COUNRTY EVER!

  6. Hey -- I've got news for you: Americans don't spend a lot of time thinking about Chinese sports players. We think of China when we are helping your earthquake victims; or when we are discussing human rights violations; or lead paint in children's toys; or infanticide of beautiful girl babies. Most of America's citizens also know how to respect others. Why  on earth can't Mexico have a great baseball team? It sounds pretty racist to me to disrespect another country like that.

Lastly -- yes our final baseball tournament  is called the World Series. We have great players from all over the world playing the game here, so why not? You need to grow up.

(By the way, I bet people would really like your country if you would let them in! I hear your Beijing hotels are half empty because your government is so paranoid they are not letting people into your country for the Olympic games; sounds like there is a lot of hate for the Chinese in the world as well. I think that's too bad -- the world could use a lot more tolerance. Maybe you should try being a better example.)

  7. LOL! Yao Ming? I think Dwight Howard will take a little bit of offense to that come August 9.

And how about this, I will concede the term of superior nation to whoever wins our little basketball game: although its hardly even fair with China's vast number of "superior" players.

Finally, Hu Jintao is extremely good at stifling dissent something I doubt a potential leader of the world's only superpower such as Obama would have a talent for.

  8. no yao sucks and lebron kobe MJ and every other african american player is 10 million times better then ming

  9. Why would one of the best players in the world be jealous of someone who is there strictly for his "height" and nothing more? Yao has gotten dunked on by Lebron, Kobe, Kirilinko, and a slew of other ballers, and he stands at over 7'5"... that is pathetic. And there are many players who are in the NBA but not Americans. Just because the NBA is in America doesn't mean no other country can be represented (Tony Parker, Dirk Novitzki, Manu Ginobili, and about half of the NBA.) Same thing with the "World Series." As far as the presidential candidates go, this is a basketball question, and neither of those 2 candidates are basketball players. Sorry!

America will take more Gold medals than any other country, and not just in basketball! We're just good like that!

This "question" is pathetic. Go find a corner to sit in.

  10. I am Chinese and I think you are a disgrace to the Chinese culture. Jealousy and hate is what you are spewing. I for one respect the fact that while China is dominant at some things, they will not be the best at everything no matter how much I wish it were so.

And not everyone hates Yao. He's universally acclaimed as the best center in the NBA.

I am supporting Team China, but even I have to admit that they won't stand a chance against the Redeem Team.

The NBA may have the most talented basketball players in the nation but they are at a disadvantage because they only spend the summer playing together. And it doesn't even matter how much the Redeem Team wins by, as long as it's a victory, that's what will go down in the history books. You think people remember that the Utah Jazz faced the Chicago Bulls in '98 and almost won? NO! People don't even think about the Jazz. All they care about is the fact that Chicago beat them at the buzzer by one point.

And as much dignity and respect that Hu Jintao has as China's Premier, he cannot be compared to a president. Their roles' in the government may be similar, but their government's are too different.

  11. In many ways Americans are Jealous of Chinese.  Also in many ways we are proud to be big mac eatin', wal mart shoppin, red white and blue Bleedin', Americans.  I'm Proud to be an american.
