They cant seem to "take it" when they lose and like to call people better than them cheaters, when they themselves have a notorious history of doping and bitching.

  1. i am not american ...

i am biased against them because they have the mentality that they are the best in everything else ...

i blame this perhaps on the way their children grow up ... total disrespect to elders, especially to those that are not americans!!

a lot of other nationalities now FEAR them ... this should not be the case ...

i would rather be respected than feared.

  2. when did we lose?

  3. we run the ******* world. can't argue around that.

  4. I would agree!

  5. because they lost to the new superpower, China. China runs the world now, leaving the USA to beg for the leftovers.

  6. Why do people resent Americans so?

I assume you are making some sort of reference to the Olympics.

OK, so maybe a few Americans suggested that some of the Chinese Olympians were under-aged, are you really going to try and accuse a whole nation of saying this and having no 'sportsmanship'?

It's not as if there wasn't a shred of impossibility in the accusation anyway.

  7. Are you seriously that narrow-minded?  That's like saying all Chinese are cheaters, just because the gymnasts were underage.  Or like saying all Middle Easterners are terrorists.  Quit assuming before you make an **** out of yourself.

  8. Stop wasting everyones time with stupid questions

  9. Hey, stop accusing us of DOPING and BITCHING!

    We sure ain't bitching!

  10. i dont think the actual ATHLETHES are, but some Americans who were watching the olympics from home. you dont really see american athletes complaing (though they do dope, Marion Jones cough*).

in the end, its the american viewers that watch olympics and whenever their team loses, they complain, and then they post ridiculous comments on Yahoo! Answers, and then they make the sterotype that all americans are b****ing

  11. they think they are the best

  12. Nobody is denying that American athletes had a history of doping. At least we are not denying it. China has a history of using underage gymnasts but they keep denying it.

  13. makes you wonder but seriously, it's a shame when one or two wankers speaks out and all Americans get clumped into the same basket. There's 301 million of them, but only a few idiots are screaming about the games and making it bad for the rest of the lot.

  14. Everytime I watched the olympics this year Americans athletes would first go shake hands with their opponents before celebrating. And aside from the USA Mens Basketball and their fight with the Team from Argentina, there were no real displays of poor sportmanship towards other countries. If u want to see poor sportmanship go look up the Spainish Mens Basketball team and what they took a picture doing about the Chinese Basketball team... it was awful.

I don't feel, as an American, that our country feels dominant over other countries. We do have extremly high expectations for our athletes. Don't always assume we are cocky.
